Mixed media painting and drawing workshops with Heather Wallace
Heather is the founder of Heritage Courtyard Gallery and Studios and offers wide experience in both teaching and practicing fine art over many years. Her workshops are informal, encouraging and her gentle instruction is a real boost for students of all abilities.
PASTEL WORKSHOP WITH HEATHER WALLACE

If you missed out on the last pastel workshop, now is your chance to book onto the next!
Pastels are a very versatile medium which can be used in a number of different ways.
Working from observation and with reference to Matisse style paintings, we will be using spring flowers and an array of colourful objects for inspiration. Heather will demonstrate how to blend and build layers of colour and texture using soft pastels. You will learn new and exciting drawing and blending skills to produce your own pastel masterpiece.
Pastel paper, charcoal and some pastels will be available for your use. Please bring pastels with you if you have some at home waiting to be used.
Tea/coffee and biscuits are provided.
