Heather Wallace

Heather is the founder of Heritage Courtyard Gallery and Studios and offers a wealth of experience in both teaching and practicing fine art over many years.  Her workshops are informal, encouraging and her gentle instruction is a real boost for students of all abilities.

£65 per person for the day
Paints and brushes provided.

Heather will guide you through this painting workshop, drawing on the inspiration of works by William Nicholson, Giorgio Morandi, Richard Diebenkorn, also the more contemporary work of Sarah Spackman and Eleanor Crow.

Their use of simple subjects to create beautifully rendered, close tonal paintings will be your inspiration for the day.

Some painting experience would be helpful but is not necessary.

Still Life by Sarah Spackman

There will be an enticing array of every day objects for you to choose from, which you will set up as a simple still life.

Acrylic paints and brushes will be provided. There will also be an opportunity for you to use oil paints and or pastel if you would prefer.

There will be canvas boards to buy, if you would prefer to use a traditional canvas then please bring one along.

Tea/coffee and biscuits provided.
