PAINTING AND DRAWING WORKSHOPS WITH
HEATHER WALLACE MA
Heather is the founder of Heritage Courtyard Gallery and Studios and offers a wealth of experience in both teaching and practicing fine art over many years. Her workshops are informal, encouraging and her gentle instruction is a real boost for students of all abilities.

QUIET CORNERS OF WELLS

A painting workshop drawing on the landscape of our local community.
This painting class will begin with sketching and photographing interesting corners of Wells. Drawing on the influences of Cornish artists Colin Orchard and Gary Long. We will also study the works of David Hockney and John Piper.
We will then return to the studios at Heritage Courtyard to work on a painting in your favourite medium. You will need to bring a sketchbook, pencils/charcoal and a rubber.
Painting materials will be available in the gallery for your use, I will provide Acrylic paints but if you would prefer to work in oils then please do bring them along. There will also be painting boards and canvas for you to purchase.
Coffee and tea are provided, you can bring lunch or I can order soup from PRESSOIR .
