Geoff is an award-winning fine artist with a growing and enthusiastic following.

He was elected a member of the Bath Society of Artists in 2005, and elected an Academician of the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts in 2020. He exhibits mainly in London and the South West, and has paintings in private collections in the USA & UK.

The theme of Geoff’s work over the past few years has been the human head, more often than not on a monumental scale. However, he has recently become less concerned with objectivity, and increasingly interested in narrative, at a more domestic scale, this without the intrusion or distraction of background elements, and therefore focusing solely on the subject. He is fascinated by the close-up and oblique view. This is also reflected in his approach to still life paintings where single objects are viewed in intimate detail.
